Lake House Interior
A 1,600 sft interior over a private lake on Chakri Road — living, kitchen and bath organised around panoramic water and hill views.
Interior of a house built over a private lake. Covered area 1,600 sft. Location: Chakri Road.
The response begins with the people who will use the project and the particular conditions of Chakri Road, Punjab — its climate, surroundings and existing fabric.
Why it is designed this way
The rooms turn to the water. Glazing, seating and the bath are placed so the lake and the hills stay in view; timber, brick and stone keep the interior warm against the open landscape.
Architecture in use

Designed for climate, nature and time
Passive strategies, durable materials and adaptability are treated as one lifecycle decision. The aim is comfort with less operational energy and an architecture that develops character as it ages.
- A private lake house on Chakri Road, with panoramic outlooks across water and hills.
- Live over the water without losing the rooms to the view.
